Our Story
InSite Builders & Remodeling was started by Stephen Gordon in 1996 with not much more than a small desk under the basement steps and a one-page business plan. Previously, he had been working in construction with his family and decided to give remodeling a try. He quickly found that home remodeling was his passion, which is what led him to found InSite Builders & Remodeling not long afterward. Now more than two decades later, his small “desk under the stairs” company has grown to become one of the most respected remodeling companies in Maryland.
